Congratulations on your decision to surrender your life to Jesus. We’re thrilled that you have taken the step of faith to believe in Jesus and trust your life to him. You probably have some questions about what this means and where to go from here. That’s what this site is all about: starting points for your journey with Christ.
What’s Next is designed for anyone and everyone. This experience is ideal for new believers in Christ. It will help you gain answers to the many questions you may have about being a fully devoted follower of Christ, and it will help identify your next steps as you grow in your faith.
This experience is also designed for mature believers who want to get back to the basics of your faith and examine who you really are as Christ followers. Having this understanding is vital for accomplishing God’s unique vision for your life and growing deeper in your faith.
What’s Next consists of six sessions. You will uncover not only who you are in Christ, but also what it means to be a fully devoted follower of Christ. You will explore essential topics, such as: what is the Bible; what is prayer; who is God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit; what is the church; and why is Biblical community so important.
Each session explores a new topic with video teachings, personal activities, and stories about others whose lives have been changed by their relationship with Christ. These resources along with the Bible references and next step suggestions will guide you as you begin to walk through your own next steps.
There is a Bible reading plan available to read as you work through each session on this site. The reading plan is six weeks long and covers one topic per week. The YouVersion reading plan, entitled Changed: Next Steps for a Changed Life, may be found here.
How you work through each session on this site depends on your learning style. Some may choose to work through the sessions one at a time, allowing a period of prayer and reflection before moving to the next. Others may want to go at a faster pace. Because some of the sessions are lengthy, you may even want to consider splitting up some of the sessions. No matter how you choose to complete the material, you will benefit from the results. Just go at the pace that most benefits you.
